09 June, 2016

Specsavers in Croydon is now accredited to perform sight tests on behalf of the Driver and Vehicle Licencing Agency when they are required for driving licence renewals.

The opticians in North End has added a weekly DVLA clinic to its in-store offering. The new service follows the store’s £300,000 expansion earlier in the year.

A word from the store director

Bill Pennell, store director at Specsavers in Croydon North End and Church Street, said: ‘Having grown our team and our capacity as an opticians in North End in recent months, we naturally looked to increase our services as well.

‘As eyecare professionals, we are always eager to find new ways of supporting the eyecare needs of customers in the borough and beyond. The introduction of the new DVLA clinic is a great example of how we’re making this happen.’
