The Durham store is celebrating after being crowned the best large retailer in Durham at the eleventh annual Durham City Retail Awards.
The store, which won the coveted accolade in 2014 and was shortlisted in 2015, beat competition from other six other high street names including Boots and Superdrug to reclaim the title.
Recognising brilliant staff
The awards, organised by Durham County Council in partnership with Prince Bishop’s Shopping Centre, recognise the brilliant staff who work in the city’s shops and the great customer service they provide.
Andrew Craig, store director, said: ‘Customers were asked to give feedback on our service and the store was mystery shopped, so to win the award based on such rigorous feedback is testament to the care delivered on a daily basis by our dedicated team.’
