The Beaver troop in Dunstable will be more visible when they are out and about, thanks to their local Specsavers store.
Specsavers staff recently went to the local Beaver group to hand out free high visibility jackets as well as glow sticks so the children to see the fab reflective vests working.
Educating the community
As well as encouraging the children to stay safe and be seen on the roads, Nishita Chauhan, lead Optometrist, and Emma Hyde, store supervisor, gave educational talks to the group explaining the importance of eye health and vision.
Emma Hyde, store supervisor at Specsavers Dunstable, says: ‘We’re proud to be working with the children in the local community to keep them safe and raise awareness of the importance of eye health.’
