Specsavers Dunfermline has set its sights on delivering world-class eye care right in the heart of the community as work begins on its £350,000 redevelopment and extension.
Work will provide new facilities, more space and additional services to customers.
This store expansion will see four extra test rooms added - all fully kitted out with the latest equipment – and a soundproof audiology room complete with cutting edge technology.
A word from the director
Grace Hepburn, store director of Specsavers Dunfermline, said: ‘We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible service and hope that the investment in our new store will improve their experience and encourage more people to visit us regularly.
‘With new state-of-the-art equipment and an increase in test rooms available, I’m delighted to say that the store is moving into the future of eye care.’
As well as making up to 100 more appointments available per week, the revamp will see customers being offered an extended range of Specsavers’ own and designer frames to choose from.
It will also continue to offer Digital Precision Eyecare, a cutting-edge way of selecting and fitting customers’ glasses, using imaging software on tablet devices.
Disruption to customers will be kept to an absolute minimum during the refurbishment. A grand re-launch event, unveiling the completed new store, will be held in June.
