Staff at Specsavers in Dunfermline took time out to focus on the Scottish Championship game on Saturday with help from a Scottish FA match official.
Referee John Beaton joined staff at Specsavers in Dunfermline for an eye test, ahead of the Dunfermline Athletic v Dundee clash on 10 September. With both teams battling it out for survival in the upper half of the Scottish Championship, the game is a crucial one in the fixtures calendar.
With more than 15 years’ refereeing experience, category one and FIFA referee John has officiated at games across the world. Highlights of his refereeing career include several Europa League group matches, a League Cup Final, two Scottish Cup semi-finals, and the Challenge Cup Final in 2015.
