Droitwich puts children’s sight first for half term
The team at Specsavers Droitwich are reminding parents of the importance of getting their children’s eyes tested.
During half term week (15-21 February) every child that has his or her eyes tested will be able to have a go at the store’s free lucky dip, with lots of spec-tacular treats on offer.
‘It’s important to stress to parents about the need for their children to see an optician,’ said store director Emma Singh. ‘Many visual problems can be corrected if we see children early enough, ideally before they are eight years old, plus of course an eye examination acts as a health check too, checking for many other conditions or illnesses.’
All under 16s get a free NHS eye examination and Specsavers offers children two free pairs of specs from their £64 and £85 ranges.
