Specsavers in Dover is doing their bit for road safety by donating high visibility vests to a local school.

Vale View Primary School

The store, located on 11-16 Biggin Street, gave 50 vests to children at Vale View Primary School to promote safety at night. A further 150 vests were donated to St Martin’s School, Priory Fields School and St Mary’s CEP School.

Road Safety Week

Specsavers store director, Matthew Trusty says: ‘We're fully behind Road Safety Week and want to ensure that as many children as possible have access to high visibility vests.

Visibility at night

'It's so important for children to stay safe at night when walking to and from school - so now, they can be more visible at night.'
