Dispensing assistant commended for act of kindness
My name is Musa and I am one of the resident Optometrists at the Huyton store. I tested a lady with Downs Syndrome today, who was particularly distressed and upset because her jacket had torn this morning and had a hole in the sleeve.
She was so distressed over the issue that she was constantly tearing, despite her care worker reassuring her.
So why am I telling you this? Enter Superwoman, aka Karen Nelson, dispensing assistant. She took the patients jacket, and returned it after five minutes, having stitched the hole together without leaving any sign of the repair work.
There's going the extra mile, and then there's Karen Nelson. I think we could all take a leaf out of Karen's book, and do a little good every now and then.
