Businesses across Chester joined forces with Specsavers this month, as it pledged to raise funds for children's charity Miles of Smiles.

Marking the launch of its brand new range of Disney frames, the store rallied the troops and collected raffle prizes from Waterstones, B&M, Chef's Table and Chez Jules.

Still chance to buy raffle tickets

Customers who visit the store over the next week (until 5 June) will have the opportunity to buy a raffle ticket in support of Miles for Smiles and be in with the chance to win a range of prizes including toys and restaurant vouchers.

The store was inspired by the latest range launch, as Specsavers has teamed up with The Walt Disney Company UK to launch an exciting range of glasses for children.

Classic characters

From classic Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse to iconic royalty such as The Little Mermaid’s Ariel and Cinderella, the range offers a style to suit every Disney dreamer.

Priced at £64 and free for under-16s as part of Specsavers’ NHS offer, children can also choose an additional free pair of frames in the two for one offer, so they can be inspired by Rapunzel one day and Sleeping Beauty the next.

Miles of Smiles

Miles of Smiles provides relief for children who are suffering from a terminal or chronic illness, or who are recuperating from surgery or cancer treatments. It supplies holidays, outings and other facilities which help improve the life of the child and their family.

Raffle tickets will be available to buy until 5 June 2015.
