The team at Specsavers Fishponds are working hard to ensure those that need help with their eyecare can still receive it during the COVID-19 crisis.

Currently all routine testing is suspended but Specsavers' teams are classed as key workers to provide urgent and essential eye care to those who need it.

One customer who visited the store was particularly grateful for the service they received.

‘I would like to thank your staff at the Bristol Fishponds branch for a great service today. My nose cushion had broken on my glasses, so I rushed from work and got to the store at exactly 5:32pm.

‘It was obviously closed but the gentleman inside saw me at the door and asked if he could help. I told him my problem and he fitted new ones for me there and then.

‘In these difficult times I am so impressed that he was still willing to take what is his own time to help and I would like to thank him very much.’
