Cornwall Rugby Referees Society (CRRS) is celebrating after signing a two-year sponsorship with Cornwall Specsavers stores. Cornwall Specsavers representative and Redruth Specsavers store director, Lucy Eva, joined Chris Hailey CRRS Referees coach to announce Specsavers Cornwall’s continued commitment to the group.
Chris Hailey CRRS Referees Coach who negotiated the deal with the Specsavers Cornwall stores said: ‘Having Specsavers on board for a further two years means we can continue to invest in new kit on and off the pitch for all members of the society. This presents a professional image and I have no doubt raises the profile of our membership in the public eye. Sponsors like Specsavers are helping the CRRS have a solid brand to promote ourselves in Cornwall and beyond.’
Lucy Eva, Redruth Specsavers stores director added: ‘On behalf of the Specsavers Cornwall stores, we are delighted to extend our commitment to supporting Cornish rugby for a further two years. We look forward to seeing this season’s kit on the pitch, especially during this exciting world cup year.’
There are 47 registered referees plus a dozen coaches and advisors. The Specsavers Cornwall logo will feature on-field kits, including playing shirts, socks, t-shirts and wet tops.
