This year’s Red Nose Day was hailed a huge success at Specsavers Launceston.

Sell out success

Customers bought the majority stock of 350 pairs of official Red Nose Day glasses, which were sold at £2 a pair in both children’s and adult sizes. This sell out success contributed to Specsavers stores nationwide beating their pledge of £250,000 and raising a massive £475,000!

Julia Peggs, Launceston store director, said: ‘Thank you so much to all our customers for supporting this year’s Comic Relief. We hope that everyone had as much fun as our staff on Red Nose Day with their novelty glasses.’

A great cause

Specsavers fundraising for Comic Relief will help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa.

Specsavers has been a Comic Relief partner since 2015.
