Coatbridge provide first class customer service
The team at Specsavers in Coatbridge has received glowing feedback from a customer after he visited the store suffering from an uncomfortable irritation in his eye.
The praise coincides with the sixth annual National Eye Health Week, which runs from 21 to 28 September. Once again, Specsavers stores across the UK are joining together to promote the importance of eye health and the need for regular sight tests for all.
Francis Cooney suspected that his irritated eye was the result of something becoming lodged in it while using a grinder at work. After several failed attempts to wash the object out of his eye, he visited the Main Street store hoping an eye check would identify the problem.
Optometrist Keith Sharp removed a small piece of rust from Francis’ eye and prescribed him some soothing eye drops, alongside offering advice on keeping his eyes protected at work.

Francis Cooney said: ‘I was delighted with the friendly and prompt service that Keith provided during my visit to the store as a trip to A&E would have taken much longer.
‘People are often quick to complain but I felt on this occasion that the quality experience I had should be recognised and thanks should be given.’
