A Lanarkshire dance troupe entertained the public on Main Street as they performed a high energy skipping display outside Specsavers Coatbridge – raising funds for their group at the same time.

The skipping display team, Jump To It, performed various energetic and intricate routines throughout the afternoon showcasing their unique talents.

The dance troupe also encouraged audience participation for some of their simpler routines. Specsavers Coatbridge supported the local dancers by hosting a bake sale with various homemade sweet treats on offer.

The energetic display raised more than £100. All donations collected on the day went towards the running costs of ‘Jump To It’ including transport and costumes for competitions.

Andrew McGonagle, store director at Specsavers Coatbridge said: ‘We were thrilled to welcome Jump To It to our store to entertain passers-by on the busy Main Street. They attracted quite a crowd and I am delighted we were able to support them for their upcoming competitions’
