Coatbridge calls out for creative youngsters
An opticians in Coatbridge is running a design competition for artistic children this July to celebrate the launch of Specsavers’ exclusive Finding Dory children’s frame range.
The store is encouraging local kids to explore their imaginations and submit colourful creations of Dory or an array of tropical fish and characters from the film.
The creative youngster who is crowned the winner will pick up a Finding Dory goody bag which includes a cuddly Dory toy, sweets, popcorn and a gift card for Showcase Cinemas.
Can’t wait to see the imaginative creations
Store director Andrew McGonagle said: ‘We are encouraging children of all ages to enter our colouring competition and can’t wait to see the imaginative creations as they are submitted instore.
‘We know from past experience that children in the area are a creative bunch so we are expecting lots of colour and fun interpretations’.
Colouring in sheets can be collected instore or hand drawn creations can also be submitted. Children can use a range of mediums in their designs – paint, pencil, glitter - there are no restrictions.
Closing date for entries
All completed entries should be returned to the Coatbridge opticians at 60 Main Street ahead of the closing date of Monday 25 July.
Specsavers Finding Dory children’s range launches in stores on Wednesday 20 July and includes four frame designs.
