Representatives from an opticians in Airdrie attended a workshop with a local Scottish Women’s Rural Institute (SWRI) group.

Store director Andrew McGonagle alongside optical assistants Jennifer and Janice Dornan from Specsavers Airdrie visited the group at Gartcosh Public Hall.

They led a talk on eye health and the importance of managing sight loss which included providing recommendations and advice on how to keep eyes as healthy as possible.

In addition, the local opticians provided catering and prepared giveaway products for attendees.

‘The group were so welcoming and we are already planning our next visits throughout 2019.’
