The team at Specsavers in Cirencester raised money for Guide Dogs on Friday 9 October by dressing up in neon outfits to support the official Guide Dogs Week (3 - 11 October).
The store was decked out in fluorescent trimmings too and tasty home-made cakes were on offer for donations, as well as the official Guide Dogs’ badges.
Store director, Stuart Anglin, said: ‘The store “glowed” for Guide Dogs on Friday. Specsavers has been supporting the charity for more than 25 years, and it was great to see customers get on board and help with this great cause by enjoying a slice of cake.’
About Guide Dogs Week
Guide Dogs Week is an annual fundraising and awareness-building campaign. This year, Guide Dogs asked people to show their support by wearing neon colours throughout the week (3 – 11 October) and raising money to support the charity’s ongoing work in communities across the UK.
