Christchurch community raise £1,000 for Macmillan
Specsavers opticians in Christchurch has raised over £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Whipping up the best cakes
Staff at the opticians, located at 34 High Street, donned their aprons to whip up their best cakes to raise money for Macmillan Cancer.
Store director Debbie Harvey said: ‘We’re very proud of raising a total of £1,082 for Macmillan and couldn’t be more thankful to our Christchurch community. Staff outdid themselves baking delicious cakes and everyone had a lovely day to support the charity.’
Macmillan Cancer Research
Macmillan Cancer Research is a national charity committed to improving the quality of life for all people affected by cancer. Macmillan’s coffee morning is the charity’s biggest fundraising event.
