Specsavers Dudley donated more than 100 selection boxes to the children’s ward at Russell’s Hall Hospital, brightening the smiles of staff and children over Christmas.

The team  asked those who need an eye examination throughout December to bring in a Christmas selection box rather than pay for their sight test.

A word from the store director

Gurdeep Dosanjh, store director, said: ‘This is an activity we’ve done for the past couple of years as it brings such joy to the children’s ward. We were overwhelmed with the response from our customers and were able to donate more than 100 selection boxes in just a few short weeks.

‘It was such a pleasure to be involved again this year, and it makes it all worthwhile when you see the children’s faces. We hope they all had a lovely Christmas. A big thank you to the Dudley community for supporting us in this donation.’
