The team at Dudley Specsavers has helped to bring a smile to the faces of young patients at Russells Hall by donating dozens of chocolate eggs to the Children’s Ward.
As well as asking customers to donate eggs in return for sight tests in the run-up to Easter, kind hearted staff at Dudley Specsavers also donated their own Easter eggs to young patients spending Easter in hospital.
‘We’ve been proud supporters of Russells Hall for several years now and donating Easter eggs for the children was a great way to spread a little joy this Easter,’ said Gurdeep Dosanjh. ‘Most of us will have spent the bank holiday weekend with our families, but that might not have been possible for the kids spending Easter in hospital, so hopefully our donation helped to cheer them up a little.’
Specsavers in Dudley has been supporting Russells Hall since 2011, raising more than £700 for the Georgina Unit in 2014 as well as running regular collections for the hospital in store.
