Children’s stories come alive in Braintree
In support of National Storytelling Week, Specsavers Braintree encouraged parents to bring their children into the store for regular eye examinations, so they can to read with a clear vision.
Adding colour to the nation’s favourite storybooks
Store director, Mike Bromidge said: ‘National Storytelling Week is a great opportunity for children to put down their video games and pick up a book instead. We want to support this celebration of all things literary by encouraging parents to book their children in for eye tests to make sure they are able to fully enjoy the magic of reading.’

Specsavers has a great range of frame designs for kids to choose from including Star Wars, Frozen and Marvel. All under-16s get a free NHS eye test. All glasses in Specsavers’ kids’ £64 and teens’ £85 ranges are free with under-16s’ NHS funding.
