Children seeing colour in opticians
The store held a monster colouring competition recently, with Gruffalo prizes awarded to the winners.
Children up to the age of 10 picked up a Gruffalo colouring sheet from a selection of scenes taken from the story book, and submitted their masterpieces to the store.
All entries were entered into a prize draw and the winners, Ruby Compton, aged five and Bree-Anna Allton, aged nine collected their Gruffalo themed goodies in a special presentation held in store. The entries are now displayed in store in pride of place!
Paul Griffiths, store director said: ‘The Gruffalo brand of eyewear has been popular with children since it launched in store so it’s great to bring the story to life through the coloured pictures!
We’ll have them on display so customers can see the great work. It also kept the children entertained during the half term week.’
