Specsavers in Chichester has raised vital funds and collected gifts for The Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre with a fundraising drive over Christmas.

Taking a tour around the centre

The Chichester opticians encouraged members of the community to come in-store and donate presents to the centre, which rescues and rehomes cats, rabbits and guinea pigs.

Staff were invited to take a tour by the centre team and join in on the food rounds to see their work for themselves.

Three boxes of presents donated

Ellie-May Hilsdon, an audiometrician at Specsavers Hearing Centre Chichester, said: ‘It was inspiring to be shown around the centre and witness first-hand everything that the volunteers do for the rescued animals.

‘We managed to fill three boxes of presents for The Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre, including blankets, food, treats and toys. We’re very grateful to our community for providing these wonderful gifts and for helping us support their work.’
