On Friday 18th September Specsavers Chesterfield donned their jeans in support of Jeans for Genes day. The team came together with help of the local community to raise £60 for the genetic disorder charity.
Supporting the cause
Chesterfield Specsavers encouraged visitors of the store to donate funds to improve the quality of life of children and families affected by generic disorders.
Stating the facts
It is estimated that one in 25 children are affected by genetic disorders in the UK, making the Jeans for Genes Day a vital day in the UK’s calendar.
Gareth Webster, store manager at Specsavers in Chesterfield said:
“Jeans for Genes Day is something that we always like to support here at Chesterfield Specsavers. I am incredibly proud of the team here and it’s great to see them supporting such a well deserving charity.”
