The team were sporting their brand new kit which was provided by the Specsavers store in Chesham after 18-year-old senior basketball player, Calvin Lennox, won a school competition to design it.

The kit comprises a vest and shorts in the school’s colours – Red, Black and Blue – and will be used by the 20 players that make up the year 7 and year 8 squads.

Thank you

Year 7 basketball team captain, Josh Maddison, aged 11, says: ‘The team couldn’t be happier about winning the district league. It’s a fantastic achievement and everyone’s worked really hard to make it possible. ‘We’d like to thank Calvin and Specsavers too as we can’t help but think that our smart new kit helped us to bring home the winning trophy.’
