Chelmsford urges people to make eye health a priority
At a time of year when people are making their New Year resolutions, a Chelmsford opticians is urging locals to make eye health a priority in 2016.
Chelmsford Specsavers, located at 92/93 High Street, is keen remind residents of the importance of regular eye examinations in maintaining eye health.
Pat Cooper, store director at Specsavers Chelmsford, said: ‘Eyesight should be tested at least once every two years to ensure they’re healthy, as well as making sure prescriptions are correct. Eye exams do more than just test your vision. By examining your retina an optometrist can detect eye diseases such as cataracts and glaucoma.’
