The team at Specsavers Chatham have been busy raising money for Prostate Cancer UK this month.

And following on from a successful quiz night with the stores in Gillingham and Strood, the Chatham team have taken on a cycle challenge at the High Street store.

Delicious treats in store

Alongside the bike ride, scheduled to run from Chatham to Land’s End, the team also held a bake sale where an amazing selection of traditional treats were on display.

Across the quiz night and cycle challenge, the team raised an amazing £447.80 for the charity – and awareness of the condition amongst staff and customers alike.

Well done to team

Punit Patel, store director in Chatham, said: ‘I would like to say a massive well done to the team for all their efforts for Prostate Cancer UK. While I am not sure they made it all the way to Land’s End, everyone had a go including our oldest member of staff Barbara, who at 69 years young has not been on a bike in years.

‘We are all delighted to have been able to raise such a lovely total for such a good cause.’
