Specsavers Sittingbourne recently spent a month fundraising for a great cause – the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

And their efforts ended in a pirate day at the store in The Forum in which staff and customers alike had a great time, and did not have to risk the high seas to do so.

Building a treasure chest

Caroline Matthews, store director in Sittingbourne, said: ‘We were really pleased to be able to support such a brilliant cause in store and build a good treasure chest for them.

‘The RNLI is a great charity and relies on volunteers to carry out what is often challenging and dangerous work at sea, and they deserve all of our support.’
