Cath Kidston style hits Burton opticians
Specsavers in Burton-on-Trent has joined forces with popular fashion and home brand, Cath Kidston, to launch a brand new collection of stylish frames during a tea party event on Saturday 17th September.
Staff will be celebrating the release of the latest exclusive frames along with the store’s 24th year of business in the town. The team will be swapping their uniforms for a vintage look and decorating the store with bright bunting on the fun-filled day, which will see Specsavers team up with local tea rooms, the Tea Pot Cafe and Helen’s Bake House & Tea Rooms in the Market Square, to complete the tea party theme.
Quality and beautiful desgins
The store is inviting customers and passers-by to come and take part in the event, which will also include a cake sale to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support as well as a raffle, where visitors will be able to get their hands on a variety of Cath Kidston prizes. The tea rooms will also be collecting donations from patrons for the cancer charity.
‘Cath Kidston is a brand known for its quality and beautiful designs, and this new range reflects that perfectly,’ said store director, Linda Joyce. ‘We’ve got a lot planned for the day and plenty of sweet treats on offer, including birthday cake from Helen’s Bake House, so you won’t want to miss out!’
The 13 modern vintage styles bring together classic Cath Kidston prints with Specsavers most fashionable frames, including stand-out colours, vibrant patterns and softer pastels. The glasses are all priced at £125 and available from Wednesday 14th September at the Burton store.
To win one of ten pairs of designer specs, visit the team in store and fill in an application form.
The competition will run until Friday 30th September and the winners will be chosen at random.
Linda continued: ‘The launch day will be a great opportunity to snap up a pair of the new specs as well as help us to celebrate the store’s 24th birthday! We look forward to welcoming many of our customers into store for the event.’
