Specsavers staff at Queen Street, Cardiff have raised more than £90 by getting ‘funny for money’ in support of Red Nose Day.

Funny for money

As part of its fundraising activities, staff have made their faces funny for money with Specsavers’ official Red Nose Day glasses in small or large sizes, for just £3 with £1 donated to Comic Relief.

Specsavers in Cardiff joined Specsavers stores nationwide to support Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa.

Fun working together

James Deavall, store director of Specsavers in Cardiff, said: ‘Supporting Red Nose Day this year has been fantastic and it was great to see staff and customers at the store get behind the campaign and do their bit to raise money for an important cause. ‘It’s fantastic that Specsavers’ official Red Nose Day glasses were so popular – we completely sold out of the funny frames!’
