The Specsavers store on Cardiff Queen Street has been busy promoting its hearcare services.
Wearing ‘Hear Here’ t-shirts, staff at Specsavers handed out leaflets, spoke to customers and passers-by about the hearcare services available at the Queen Street store and offered advice on how to protect against hearing loss and damage.
During the three-day event, the store also had a visit from Siemens representative Andrea Perris to talk about the latest hearcare technology available at Specsavers.
James Deavall, store director of Specsavers in Cardiff, said: ‘Hearing loss can affect all aspects of an individual’s life and by hosting our event, we really wanted to encourage our customers and members of the Cardiff community to be aware of the importance of looking after their ear health.
‘Hearing tests can accurately assess your hearing, as well as identify conditions such as tinnitus, a ringing in the ears, and wax build-ups. The test can also spot further, more serious conditions such as inner ear tumours, known as cholesteatoma.
‘Our dedicated audiologists at the Queen Street store are available to help and advise our customers about any hearcare concerns they might have. The warning signs of heating loss and damage aren’t always clear so our ‘Hear Here’ event was a good reminder to our community of the services we provide at Specsavers.’
