Staff at Specsavers on Albany Road, Cardiff, have donated 400 high-visibility vests to young Cardiff City football fans.

Hi-viz vests

The Specsavers team in Cardiff handed out the high-visibility jackets to children and families who watched the Cardiff City FC versus Burnley FC match, as part of its campaign to promote the importance of being seen and safe on the roads.

Safety on the roads

Frank Moloney, director of Specsavers in Cardiff, said: ‘Specsavers is proud to champion the importance of road safety to all members of our local community, and our high-visibility vest campaign is just one way that we encourage youngsters to stay safe and seen on the roads.

‘It was great to have a presence at the Cardiff City home match and to meet so many young fans and their families, and we hope they benefit from wearing their vests when out walking in the local community.’
