Staff from Specsavers in Cannock have collected a range of goodies to create a post-Christmas hamper for a local food bank.

Members of the team donated canned or dried goods to help those in need now that the festivities are over.

A word from the store director

‘The Christmas period is a time of goodwill, so now that we’re a couple of months into the new year, we wanted to provide support for those who continue to need it,’ said Specsavers Cannock store director, Claire Blandford. ‘Worryingly, more and more people seem to be relying on food banks, so we hope this will help to make a difference.’
