Specsavers Cannock are raising their glasses after hearing they have been shortlisted in the prestigious Optician Awards.
The store has reached the final stages of the national competition in the Contact Lens Practice of the Year Award, thanks to the team’s commitment to providing first-class eye care.
A word from the store director
‘We’re over the moon to have been shortlisted,’ commented Randeep Singh, store director. ‘These awards are one of the highest accolades for optical professionals, practices and companies, so to have made it through to the final few is an amazing achievement and fantastic recognition for our loyal and hard-working team.’
Entrants in this category are judged on how well they work with customers to maximise comfort and vision with contact lens wear.
‘Now it’s all about the final in March,’ added Randeep. ‘We’re up against some stiff competition though, with five other stores in a bid for the win, and two of those also being Specsavers stores!’
The Optician Awards has been established for more than 20 years and is the highlight of the year for optical practices, attracting the UK’s most talented opticians, teams and companies. The gala awards dinner and awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 30 March in Birmingham.
