Specsavers team from Alton bake for charity
The staff at Specsavers Alton will be busy baking in the kitchen ahead of their in-store cake sale in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning
This year, colleagues are hosting a raffle consisting of three amazing prizes plus a sale of cakes and biscuits in an effort to raise funds for the charity, ahead of the annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning (WBCM).
Cake sale to be held on 22 September 2015
The cake sale will be held on 22 September 2015 from 9am onwards at Specsavers Alton, located at 43 High Street. The event will be particularly poignant this year as all funds raised will honour the memory of an employee’s relative.
Honouring Shirley Powell’s memory
Shirley Powell, mother of Jackie Stevens and grandmother of Amy Grainger, passed away in February this year after a two-year battle with cancer. Her granddaughter, Amy Grainger works at Specsavers Alton as an optical assistant.
Fantastic prizes to be won in a raffle
