Specsavers in Bury St Edmunds supported National Storytelling Week by reminding parents to bring their children for regular eye examinations so they can continue to enjoy reading.

Discover the magic of literature with clear vision

Between 30th January and 6th of February, the nation celebrated the magic of literature and Specsavers invited parents in Bury St Edmunds to ensure their children are reading with a clear vision by booking them in for regular eye examinations.

Store director, Marc Mitchell said: ‘National Storytelling Week was a great opportunity for children to put down their video games and pick up a book instead. We were happy to support this to ensure that as many children as possible read with clear vision.’

Kid’s eye tests

At Specsavers all under-16s get a free NHS eye test. All glasses in Specsavers’ kids’ £64 and teens’ £85 ranges are free with under-16s’ NHS funding.
