Three children from Burton-on-Trent have been rewarded for their artistic skills by staff from Specsavers in Burton-on-Trent after entering a Finding Dory colouring competition.
Seven year-old Willow Adams, along with Layton Ford, six, and Chester Adams, five, each received a Disney-themed goody bag for their efforts, which were selected as worthy winners by local artist, Daisy Campbell, at the store.
‘We received so many great entries to the competition that Daisy found it difficult to pick out just three winners, but Willow, Layton and Chester’s pictures were fantastic,’ commented store director, Linda Joyce. ‘Well done to all the children who entered the competition and a big thank you for all the colourful pictures we received!’
The colouring competition follows the launch of the brand new Finding Dory range for kids, featuring beloved characters such as Nemo, Hank the octopus and of course, Dory herself.
At Specsavers all under-16s get a free NHS eye test and all glasses in the kids’ £64 and £85 ranges are free with under-16’s NHS funding. Specs wearers can also choose a second pair from the £64 or £85 ranges, free. Both pairs come with single-vision lenses with a scratch-resistant treatment and UV filter, or you can choose to have tinted prescription lenses and a UV filter free in your second pair.
