The team from Specsavers in Bromsgrove have raised a barking-mad £150 in aid of Guide Dogs.
On Saturday 2 November, Specsavers on the High Street were visited by a bunch of four-legged friends and their companions to help raise funds for the charity. Customers and the local community were given the chance to pet a pooch and learn more about the work Guide Dogs provides.
Youngsters also had the opportunity to get creative by entering a colouring competition and drawing their favourite dog. The lucky winners, Finnton and Mia Lucy Filby, aged 8 and 6, won a cuddly canine of their own to take home.
A word from the store director
‘It was lovely to see the team’s hard work come together,’ says Specsavers Bromsgrove store director, Mark Gibson. ‘The day was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, especially our four-legged friends, and we hope the cuddly pups are enjoying their new home with Finnton and Mia Lucy.’
