Staff at Specsavers in Bridlington are hosting a present collection in store in the run up to Christmas to give to local children and young people in need.
The collection is being held in aid of the East Riding Children's Trust for local families, children and young people.
The team in store are urging members of the public to come in and donate gifts by Thursday 15 December in a final push before Christmas.
Members of the public are being asked to bring in a range of presents, from children’s toys to warm items of clothing.
Mark Kunz, store director of Bridlington's Specsavers store, says: ‘Each year we host a present collection and are blown away with the generosity of the people of Bridlington.
‘We’re hoping to make this year better than ever and collect a record breaking number of presents for children and young people who are in need.’
People wanting to donate gifts can hand them into the Specsavers store on 29 King Street.
