Staff at Specsavers in Bradley Stoke opticians are getting in the spirit for Red Nose Day on Friday 15 March by wearing and selling funny frames to help raise money for this year’s Comic Relief.
The store has raised funds for Comic Relief by selling funny frames and having a charity collection in store.
A word from the store director
Store director, Gaurav Patel, said: ‘Having partnered with Comic Relief for three years now, this year Specsavers have reached the £1million fundraising goal, which is incredible!’
This year’s funny frames are jester themed in keeping with the charity’s comic ethos, and they’re available in store for just £2 a pair, with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity.
Customers who would like to recycle the glasses after Red Nose Day will be able to return them to their local store and they will be sent on to a specialist recycling company.
