The team at Specsavers in Bradford is raising money for rare genetic disorders by donning their favourite denim clothing and taking part in Jeans for Genes Day in store on Friday 18 September.

Staff at the store on Darley Street are donating money to the charity, which provides funding for the care and support of children with genetic disorders, in order to wear their jeans to work for the day.

A word from the director
Pete Rooke, store director at Specsavers in Bradford, said: ‘Jeans for Genes Day not only raises money for a very worthwhile cause; it heightens awareness of the charity too.

‘We hope that the event will be well supported by the local community to help us raise as much money as possible for children and their families who are affected by genetic disorders.’
