Optician to the rescue in Bradford
Optical assistant Paul Garnett from Specsavers at Bradford Darley Street recently came to the rescue of a patient who was hit by a car on his way to the store.
Store manager James Ellison said: ‘Despite being knocked over on the way here, Mr Patchett was adamant that he needed a sight test. After the sight test Mr Patchett was very unsteady on his feet but was still insistent on making his own way home. However, Paul decided to take matters into his own hands and take Paul home himself.
Upon returning to the store to purchase some new spectacles, Mr Patchett and his wife both made it clear to me that they were incredibly grateful for Paul’s help in getting him home.’
