Kind-hearted customers in Blackburn have raised hundreds of pounds for Red Nose Day, by supporting the store’s action -filled weekend of fundraising).
The team at Specsavers Blackburn in Lord Street Mall and Morrisons supermarket were joined by hundreds of customers over the weekend for Comic Relief capers.
Game for a laugh
Ahmed Deshmukh, store director at Specsavers Blackburn, said: ‘Seeing the amount of fun had and support shared from everyone over the weekend was brilliant. We want to thank all of our customers who very generously donated to such a great cause.
‘I’d also like to extend my thanks to the team for their hard work across the weekend.’
National campaign success
Specsavers has been a Red Nose Day partner since 2015 and has raised a total of £475,000 for the cause this year.
