Bishopsgate Specsavers gives out high-visibility vests

17 November, 2014

Specsavers Bishopsgate is giving out high-visibility vests to children in a bid to help kids stay safe near roads. The team at the store want to encourage all passers-by and customers to come and grab a high-visibility vest for their kids.*

Promoting road safety in store

Children visiting the store have been receiving free high-visibility vests to promote the importance of road safety, especially as the evenings become darker.

Store director Rajesh Chandegra said: ‘Now that the clocks have changed and nights are darker, we want to make sure that children are safe and as visible to drivers as possible.’

Brake, the national road safety charity, exists in order to aid the prevention of deaths and injuries which happen on roads on a daily basis. The charity also promotes safe and sustainable road use and works hard to have effective road safety policies implemented.
