Thrilled to be part of Farnham Festival of cycling
Emma Rice poses with Specsavers bike

Specsavers in Farnham recently received an old bike and were given the challenge to update and rennovate it ahead of the Farnham Festival of Cycling.

Going green!

It made sense for the team to 'pimp' their bike in hues of green to reflect the brand colours.  A token pair of spectactles were also added to the bike frame.

Keen not to make a 'spectactle' of herself on the actual bike, Emma decided to pose by it instead for our photo,  but informs us it is indeed road-worthy!

A great day had by all

The Festival took place on 2 July and the whole town was taken over by bikes and riders of all ages.  Farnham Maltings held a bustling velo village full of interesting stands, one of which being a smoothie-making bike provided by Specsavers.

All of the bikes that were designed and updated by local businesses will be auctioned off for charity.  We will keep you updated on the cause and money raised by the Green Specsavers Bike!
