The team at the Specsavers store in Yate went red last week to raise money for charity, raising a total of £88.

As part of National Heart Month, the team got involved in Wear it Red Day on Friday 5 February, with all proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation. The team not only dressed from head to toe in red – a cake sale and a competition to guess the number of red sweets in a jar was also part of the fundraising fun.

Jane Morgan, store director, said: ‘We all really enjoyed our day of fundraising activities on Friday. It was an opportunity to dress up and have some fun, all to raise money for a great cause.’
