Bicester Specsavers has teamed up with the local leisure centre to celebrate Finding Dory.

In the wake of the Finding Dory specs launch, Richard Graham from Bicester Leisure Centre dressed up as Dory to promote the latest range for kids. Designed to ensure the best anatomical fit for young faces, the new range is priced at £64 and is free for under-16s with an NHS optical voucher.

The event also tied in with ITV’s celebration of Team GB’s success in Rio. The broadcaster turned off all its channels for an hour in the morning to encourage people to get active and it was a great chance for the store and leisure centre to explore the theme of health and wellness amongst youngsters.

A great day for all

Passersby stopped for pictures with Dory and were delighted to meet the much-loved Disney character. ‘It was a great day for all involved,’ said store director Sarah Marshall. ‘Everyone loves Finding Dory and it was a nice way to celebrate the launch of the specs range in-store. We have four different under-water inspired frames, all for £64, and they are the perfect way for kids to channel their favourite fishy character!’
