Bicester Specsavers has shown what the festive season is all about by hosting a huge raffle in aid of a local youngster in need.

Customers and passers-by were invited to take part in the raffle in return for a donation, which saw the store raise a total of £152.50. All proceeds are going to Camren’s Steps, a fundraising campaign which aims to raise £65,000 to provide a life changing operation in America for six-year-old local boy Camren Haines.

‘We have supported Camren’s Steps for the past 12 months and this was our final fundraising activity,’ said store director Sarah Marshall. ‘Our team donated all the prizes themselves and have been very generous over the past 12 months. We hope these funds can help Camren and his family reach their goal.

‘Thank you to the Bicester community for supporting the raffle and we hope the winners got to enjoy their festive treats over the Christmas season.’
