Bethnal Green Opticians is a sight for sore eyes
Specsavers in Bethnal Green will be hosting a celebration day to honour their recent refurb and raising vital funds for Vision Aid Overseas (VAO).
The store has now welcomed I Harmony testing which means the optical team will assist customers in selecting their preferred glasses. Imaging software on a tablet is then used to take an image of them wearing the glasses, which in turn captures a range of essential dispensing measurements. These are unique to the customer and their chosen glasses.
To honour this change, on Saturday the 20th February, the team will be hosting an instore a raffle with a pair of designer specs up for grab, and setting up a spec MOT station outside, for donations in return. Children will be in for a treat as well, as they will be given the chance to guess how many specs are in the jar, and be entertained by a stilt walker too!
A word from the director
Jayesh Maru, Store director: Celebrating over two decades is an important milestone – and it feels right that we honour it with the community, which has adopted us as their own. We would like to invite all local residents to join us and donate towards this worthy cause. We look forward to seeing you all.’
