The team at Specsavers Ashford were recently delighted to find out that their PR champion Benita Lowe had been appointed as an official ambassador for Buster’s Book Club.
It means that Benita – who is now the first Specsavers literacy ambassador in Kent – will be delivering assemblies in local schools and championing the initiative, which encourages children to read more at home.
A word from Benita
Benita said: ‘I am delighted to have been named as the first Specsavers literacy ambassador in Kent.
‘We have worked with Inspire Schools and the KM Charity Team for almost a decade supporting Buster’s Book Club in Kent, and it is a real honour for me to take on this ambassadorial role.
‘I am really looking forward to getting started.’
